Hytale Early Access launches January 13, 2026
After years of trailers, silence, cancellation, and a surprise revival, Hytale finally has a real date: Early Access goes live on January 13, 2026 for PC.
The team is opening pre-orders on December 13, 2025, exactly seven years after the original reveal trailer. But they’re very clear: pre-purchasing is optional. In their announcement they explicitly say that if you’re not comfortable pre-ordering, you shouldn’t feel pressured to do it at all.
True Early Access, not a “fake 1.0”
Hytale’s Early Access isn’t being sold as a near-finished product. The developers describe it as “true early access”: the game will be rough, buggy, unbalanced, and changing fast in the first months. The goal is to ship the foundations, then improve them together with players over time.At launch, you can expect the core of Hytale:
- Exploration mode with procedurally generated worlds, dungeons and combat
- Creative mode with powerful building and world-editing tools
- Modding support and community servers from day one, so creators can immediately start experimenting. (hytale.com)

If you love the idea of helping shape Hytale, don’t mind bugs, and want to be there from the moment the servers open, Early Access on January 13 is your chance. If you prefer something polished and stable, the team themselves are telling you it’s okay to wait.Either way, Hytale finally has a path forward and in just a few months, we’ll all be able to step into Orbis for real.
